Graduate Program

Furthering the mission of educating leaders, and beginning with the inaugural class in 2011, the Institute established a unique graduate program offering a master’s degree in civic leadership, one of only two such programs in the country.

Founded in 2010, the Andrews Institute was established to honor and embody the character of its founding couple, Nelson and Sue Andrews. Nelson Andrews’ belief that community building was a shared responsibility of all sectors and his work to create collaborations among these sectors has formed the foundation upon which the Institute’s mission and work have been built.

Following the collaborative leadership model, the Institute’s issue-specific citizen leadership academy and CABLE Leadership academy allow local leaders from all sectors an opportunity for leadership development and education.

Hosted by the Institute, the Leading Voices website provides an online forum for local, national, and international leaders to discuss best practices and solutions for solving community challenges. "A social site for furthering social good."
